Remanufactured HP 42X (Q5942X) High-Yield Black MICR Toner

This remanufactured black MICR toner replaces the HP 42X (Q5942X) and is made for offices that print their own checks. It is a high-yield toner rated for about 24,000 pages, so busy check runs need fewer stops to change supplies.

What MICR toner does for check printing

MICR stands for magnetic ink character recognition. The toner contains magnetic particles, so bank processing machines can read the numbers along the bottom of a check. Regular toner is not made for this job.

Made for HP LaserJet printers

This toner works with the HP LaserJet line, such as the HP LaserJet 4250, HP LaserJet 4250dtn and HP LaserJet 4350n. It also replaces OEM numbers 02-81135-500, 02-81136-001, 02-81136-500 and 02-81181-001.
