Canon Ink & Toner Cartridges

Canon ink, toner and printer supplies

Supplies for Canon printers come in four types: ink, toner, drum and maintenance kit. Most of the range is compatible, meaning it is made to work with Canon printers and replace the Canon part number. A smaller share is remanufactured toner, such as the 324II, which has a page yield of 12,500.

Printer series with the most supplies

The largest groups of supplies are for these Canon series:

• PIXMA inkjet printers
• imagePROGRAF/PRO large-format and photo printers
• ImageCLASS laser printers
• ImageRunner office copiers and multifunction machines
• MAXIFY business inkjet printers

Pick your series first, then narrow down to your exact printer model to see the supplies that fit it.

Colors and page yields

Black is available in several forms, including Black, Photo Black and Matte Black. Color sets include Cyan, Magenta and Yellow, along with Tri-Color and Multi-Pack options. Photo and wide-format printers can also use Photo Cyan, Photo Magenta, Photo Blue, Photo Gray, Gray, Light Gray and Dark Gray. Chroma Optimizer is available as well.

Capacities include Standard, High Yield, Extra High Yield and Super High Yield. Compatible black toner shows the range well:

• 1246C001 is a High Yield black toner with a page yield of 2,800.
• 3028C001 is a High Yield black toner with a page yield of 3,100.
• 055HBK is a High Yield black toner with a page yield of 7,600.
• 0288C001 is a High Yield black toner with a page yield of 25,000.
• 0998C003 is a black toner with a page yield of 82,000.

Compatible cartridges cost less than new name-brand cartridges, which makes them a practical choice for home offices and busy workplaces. Check the part number on your current cartridge, then match it to the product before you order.
