The Canon PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II uses eight compatible inks: CLI-8BK black, CLI-8C cyan, 0622B002 magenta, CLI-8Y yellow, CLI-8G green, CLI-8PC photo cyan, CLI-8PM photo magenta and CLI-8R red. Colors and page yields
- Black, cyan, yellow, green and red: CLI-8BK, CLI-8C, CLI-8Y, CLI-8G and CLI-8R, about 280 pages each.
- Magenta: 0622B002, about 280 pages.
- Photo cyan and photo magenta: CLI-8PC and CLI-8PM, about 450 pages each.
Green and red add range to the usual cyan, magenta and yellow, and the photo colors help with smooth tones.
