This remanufactured black MICR toner replaces the HP 78A (CE278A) in HP LaserJet Pro printers. MICR toner contains magnetic particles, so it is the toner used to print checks that banks can read and sort by machine. It suits small businesses and offices that print their own checks.

Regular toner is not meant for checks. This MICR toner is, which makes it a fit for printing account numbers and routing numbers along the bottom edge of a check. It also prints ordinary black text, so you can use it for other documents.
